Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
At Sparthfield Happy Day Nursery, we embrace the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and use it as the basis of our approach to early learning and development. The EYFS is a play based framework acknowledging that every child is unique. Individual planning enables each child to meet his/her personal goals and we take into account any special educational needs. We provide a broad range of challenging and stimulating play activities, both indoors and outdoors, that promote children's overall development.
Online Learning Journey - EYLog
We assess how young children are learning and developing by observing them frequently. We provide a complete log of all children's development through a secure online learning journey system called EYLog. Your children's EYLog will be made up of observations, photographs, videos and assessments. All information helps us to assess your children's learning and development and plan appropriately for your children's individual needs. The EYLog enables parents/carers to have instant access to their childrens development through email notifications.
