The Team

"Recruitment procedures are robust ensuring that all staff have the necessary checks, qualifications and skills to work with young children." - Ofsted 2014

Sparthfield Happy Day Nursery fully understands that the staff team is the most important asset to providing excellent care and learning. Our nursery complies with regulatory requirements and has the appropriate number of qualified staff for the children attending. Due to our commitment to safeguard children, we follow a carefully structured recruitment and selection procedure. All new staff must undergo a range of security checks including disclosure barring service, reference and qualification checks and successfully complete a probationary period. Staff training is ongoing at Sparthfield Happy Day Nursery and continuous staff development opportunities update staff skills, knowledge and experience, constantly improving the quality of our childcare services.
